It is a full-page advertising and publishing page inside a niche Freak Sites Island.

Depending on the Island, somebody might use one to:

sell a car;
promote a business;
showcase a vehicle;
advertise a race;
promote a vacation rental;
document a trip;
show a product or service;
publish an opinion;
or tell a story worth keeping online.

The page can include photographs, writing, video embeds, links, contact information and its own public URL.

That is what somebody is buying.

Not a position.

Not a rank.

Not a spot in a compensation chart.

A real advertising product.

JOINING THE AFFILIATE PROGRAM IS FREE

You do not have to buy a Parking Spot to join the Affiliate Program.

You do not have to buy inventory.

You do not have to enroll in autoship.

You do not have to hit a monthly purchase requirement just to stay an affiliate.

And most importantly:

YOU DO NOT GET PAID BECAUSE SOMEBODY JOINS.

Affiliate registration itself creates no commission.

The Affiliate Program is simply the tracking system that connects qualifying purchases to the people who helped create the distribution.

THERE ARE NO MONTHLY OR VOLUME QUALIFIERS

This is probably one of the clearest differences between the Freak Sites Affiliate Program and many traditional network-marketing structures.

You do not have to:

buy a starter kit;
purchase inventory;
place a monthly personal order;
maintain autoship;
hit a monthly personal-volume target;
hit a group-volume target;
maintain a certain number of active people;
qualify for a rank;
buy your way into a higher commission level;
pay a monthly fee just to remain commission-eligible;
or hit a sales quota simply because another month started.

The Affiliate Program is free to join.

If you join and do absolutely nothing, you owe nothing.

You also earn nothing.

If qualifying purchases happen through your properly tracked affiliate path, the current commission structure applies.

That is the qualification.

A real qualifying transaction happened.

Not that you bought enough stuff this month.

Not that your group hit some volume target.

Not that you maintained a title.

A purchase happened. The tracking determines the commission.

Some traditional MLM or network-marketing companies do use starter kits, autoship, volume requirements, ranks and monthly qualification rules.

That’s their model.

SO WHY ARE THERE MULTIPLE TIERS?

Because distribution doesn’t always stop with one person.

Suppose I introduce you to a Freak Sites Island.

You understand the Parking Spot.

You create one.

You show somebody else.

That person likes the idea and creates one too.

Then that person introduces somebody else.

Why should the platform necessarily keep every dollar generated farther down that distribution path?

I decided it doesn’t have to.

The current affiliate structure can recognize qualifying product activity through these connected positions:

20% — Direct affiliate
15% — First connected position
10% — Second connected position
5% — Third connected position
5% — Fourth connected position

The tiers are there to share revenue through distribution.

They are not there to pay people merely for adding names.

THE COMMISSION PERCENTAGES ARE NOT RANKS

This is another distinction that can get confusing if somebody comes from a traditional MLM background.

The:

20%;
15%;
10%;
5%;
5%

are not achievement levels.

You do not start at 5% and work your way up to 20%.

You do not unlock the 20% direct commission because you sold more this month.

You do not unlock another connected position because you purchased more product.

You do not get promoted from one percentage to another.

They describe different positions in the properly connected affiliate path.

The direct affiliate receives the current direct percentage on qualifying purchases attributed to that affiliate.

Connected affiliates may receive the applicable connected percentage based on where they sit in the properly tracked relationship.

Position — not rank.

PEOPLE DO NOT CREATE COMMISSIONS.
PURCHASES DO.

This distinction makes the whole model easier to understand.

Suppose you introduce 100 people to the Affiliate Program.

All 100 join.

And nobody ever buys a Parking Spot.

YOUR COMMISSION: $0.

Now suppose you introduce one person.

That person buys a qualifying $7 Parking Spot through your properly tracked path.

At the current direct rate:

YOUR COMMISSION: $1.40.

Why?

Because a real product purchase happened.

YOU CAN BUILD A GROUP.
THE GROUP JUST ISN’T THE PRODUCT.

This is another place where people get confused.

Can you introduce other affiliates?

Of course.

Should you try to find productive people, creators, influencers and people with access to markets?

Absolutely.

That’s part of distribution.

But the economic goal isn’t:

“How many people can I put underneath me?”

The better question is:

“How much legitimate product activity can this distribution create?”

Ten active people who understand the product could be far more useful than 1,000 free affiliate registrations that never produce a single Parking Spot.

The group is distribution.

The Parking Spot is still the product.

NO RANKS. NO PROMOTIONS. NO SPECIAL TITLES.

You don’t have to become:

Gold;
Platinum;
Diamond;

There are no special affiliate ranks required to unlock the basic connected commission structure.

There is no promotion ceremony.

No company car because you reached some title.

YOU DON’T PURCHASE YOUR WAY INTO THE COMPENSATION PLAN

You do not unlock the 20% direct commission because you bought $500 worth of something.

You do not unlock the 15% connected position because you purchased a larger package.

You do not have to buy inventory to maintain eligibility.

You do not have to place a monthly order because the calendar flipped from Tuesday to Wednesday.

The Affiliate Program is free.

If properly tracked qualifying product activity happens, the current affiliate structure determines the applicable commission.

WHY I BUILT IT THIS WAY

Look at how the Internet normally works.

You tell people:

“Find me on Facebook.”

You introduce people to YouTube.

You send people to X.

You help those platforms get users.

Those users create content.

Advertisers spend money.

And normally the platform keeps the advertising revenue.

I decided to try something different.

If people help introduce customers and create distribution for Freak Sites, I am willing to share a substantial part of the qualifying product revenue through the affiliate structure.

On a standard $7 Parking Spot, the current five positions can potentially distribute a total of:

$3.85

That’s 55% of the seven-dollar purchase.

Why would I give away 55%?

Because I’d rather share the revenue with people who helped create the transaction than insist on keeping 100% of a transaction that never happens.

That’s the business decision behind the multi-tier structure.

SO…IS THIS MLM?

If by “MLM” somebody simply means:

“More than one connected person can potentially earn a commission from product sales.”

and commissions connected to actual revenue-producing activity.

Call the structure whatever makes sense to you.

I care much more about whether the product has value, whether participation is optional and whether the economics are transparent.

THE SIMPLE TEST

Ignore the Affiliate Program for a minute.

Look at a Parking Spot.

Would somebody reasonably pay seven dollars for that advertising or publishing page even if there were no affiliate commission attached to it?

If the answer is:

YES

then we have a product.

Now put the Affiliate Program back on top of it.
